What is AIM WorkAgent?

AIM WorkAgent is AI Impact Maine’s managed private business AI agent deployment. It is configured for one or more approved operations with defined data, tools, permissions, human approvals, documentation, and support boundaries.

Can AIM WorkAgent run locally or in a private cloud?

Yes, when the selected workflow and model requirements support that architecture. A deployment may use client-controlled local hardware, a self-hosted environment, a private cloud account, an approved enterprise API, or a hybrid design.

Can people approve sensitive actions before they occur?

Yes. The deployment can require named human approval before supported messages, file changes, system updates, transactions, deployments, or other consequential actions.

Does a private deployment guarantee that all data remains local?

No. Data can leave client-controlled infrastructure when cloud models, websites, external APIs, messaging services, telemetry, or other connected tools are enabled. The engagement documents and limits those data paths.

Implementation components are selected after assessment.

AIM WorkAgent does not depend on one universal framework. AI Impact Maine selects optional components only when their current capabilities, licenses, maintenance model, controls, and infrastructure fit the approved use case.
